Plans & credits: Starter, toktixPRO, toktixMAX

What a credit is, what each plan includes, and how buying extra credits works.

Text marketing on TokTix runs on credits: one credit sends one text (about 160 characters — longer messages use a few more). Every plan includes a monthly batch of credits, and paid plans can buy more whenever they need them.

The plans

  • Starter (free, every organizer) — 500 credits a month, up to 500 people per blast, sent from a shared TokTix number.
  • toktixPRO ($49/mo) — 5,000 credits a month, your own local number, a two-way inbox, up to 2,500 people per blast, and extra credits at 1.5¢ each.
  • toktixMAX ($99/mo) — 10,000 credits a month, up to 20,000 people per blast, and extra credits at 1.25¢ each.

Running bigger lists than that? Reach out from Profile → Feedback and ask about the Business tier.

How credits work

  • Included credits reset monthly. Your plan's batch refreshes every month — use them or they refresh anyway.
  • Purchased credits never expire. Buy a pack when a big send needs more than you have left; whatever you don't use stays on your account.
  • Blasts draw included credits first, then purchased — so your bought credits are always the last to go.
  • Replies never cost credits. Answering fans from your inbox draws on a separate monthly reply allowance, not your blast credits. See Replies and your inbox.

Buying credits

  1. Open the Messages tab → your SMS hub.
  2. Tap Buy credits and pick a pack — you'll check out on the web at your plan's rate.
  3. Your balance updates in the hub as soon as the purchase completes.

You can also top up mid-compose: if a blast needs more credits than you have, the composer says so and offers the pack right there.

Upgrading

Tap Get toktixPRO in the Messages tab to see both plans and check out. Your number, inbox, and higher limits are live within minutes — see Get your own number for what happens next.
