Replies and your inbox

Fan replies land in your inbox with a push — answer from your own number, without spending blast credits.

On toktixPRO and toktixMAX, texting isn't one-way. When a fan replies to your blast, the conversation lands in your inbox in the Messages tab — and you answer right from the app, from your own number.

When a fan replies

  • You get a push notification with their name and the message, and tapping it opens that conversation.
  • The conversation shows the fan's name when they're a known buyer or subscriber; their number stays private-by-design otherwise.
  • Notifications respect your quiet hours — a 2am reply waits in your inbox instead of buzzing you. Set those under Profile → Notification Settings.

Answering

  1. Open the Messages tab → tap the conversation.
  2. Type your reply and send. It goes out from your number, and your message appears in the thread instantly.
  3. If a reply can't be sent — say you've used up the month's allowance — the message shows why, right on the bubble, and you can tap to retry.

Replies don't cost credits

Answering fans draws on a separate monthly reply allowance (1,500 replies on toktixPRO, 3,000 on toktixMAX) — never your blast credits. Texting people back should never compete with your marketing budget, so it doesn't.

Who you can message

The inbox is for replying: fans who texted you first, or subscribers in an existing conversation. Someone who texted STOP can't be messaged at all — TokTix enforces that for you, and the thread says so.

Blasts and one-to-one replies are different tools: blasts go to your audience on blast credits; the inbox answers individuals on the reply allowance.

Still stuck? Open the TokTix app, go to Profile → Feedback, and send us a message — we read every one.
