Delete Your TokTix Account

This page explains how to delete your account for the TokTix mobile app (published by Toktix, Inc.), and what happens to your data when you do. You can delete your account whether or not you still have the app installed.

Option 1: Delete your account in the app

  1. Open the TokTix app and sign in.
  2. Tap the Profile tab in the bottom navigation.
  3. Tap Delete Account.
  4. Confirm your identity when prompted (Face ID, fingerprint, or a code sent to your phone number).
  5. Confirm the deletion. If you hold tickets to an upcoming event, we'll warn you first — deleting your account means losing access to those tickets.

Deletion takes effect immediately once confirmed.

Option 2: Request deletion without the app

If you no longer have the TokTix app installed, email us at hello@toktix.com with the subject line "Account Deletion Request". Send the request from the email address on your account, or include the phone number you used to sign up so we can verify it's you. We process verified requests within 30 days and confirm when the deletion is complete.

You can also use this address to request deletion of specific data (for example, your SMS consent record and phone number) without deleting your whole account.

What gets deleted

  • Your profile, including your name, phone number, email address, and profile photo
  • Your sign-in credentials (your account can no longer be used to log in)
  • Your tickets, saved events, and followed hosts
  • Your notification tokens and device associations

What may be retained

  • Transaction records: purchase and payment records that we are required to keep for tax, accounting, and fraud-prevention purposes are retained for as long as the law requires, then deleted or anonymized.
  • Data held by event hosts: information a host has already exported for their own records (for example, a guest list for an event you attended) is held by that host as an independent controller. On request, we will pass your deletion request to the host, or you can contact them directly.
  • Legal obligations: we may retain limited data where necessary to comply with law, resolve disputes, or enforce our agreements, as described in our Privacy Policy.
